Our Favorites of 2017!!

2017 has been an amazing year for us. If you havent already, be sure to check out all the amazing new updates on our recent post here.

We want to take a moment to reflect on our year and share with you some of our favorites of 2017!

Favorite Bouquets

Margo's Bouquet

This is a tough one for us... we there are so many bouquets that were so amazing. But if we had to narrow it down, this one really stuck with us...

Margo and Will got married on February 25th and Margo's colorful bouquet was so pretty, it could stop traffic. Her bouquet was the perfect mix of whimsical and drama. With tones of deep burgundy, cranberry, violet, white and periwinkle... it was stunning at all angles.

Favorite Wedding Dresses

Kayla's Dress

Finding the perfect wedding dress is a fun adventure. There are so many designs out there that its almost impossible not to look gorgeous. We are thrilled to share with you some of our favorites of the year!

Ready to be amazed!?!?! Check out this stunning gown!!! Kayla was super unique when it came to her dress. At one point she worked in a bridal shop and so she new early on that she wanted a dress that was unlike what she typically sees. Well she succeeded! The details on this dress made our mouths drop. It also doesn't hurt that it fit her like a glove. Cant get any better than this!

Favorite Tablescape

We were thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Wedding Day Magazine to put together a shoot for their cover. Having an amazing platform to be able to express our creativity is always super fun. We wanted to go outside the box which is why this is our favorite of the year. We were aiming to achieve a rustic lodge style tablescape. We incorporated details like antlers, burlap, agave slices and geodes to represent different natural elements.

Morgan and Ryan's Wedding Cake

We all have seen the naked cake but we havent seen it like this! These cascading florals take this seemingly simple design to the next level. Talk about statement piece!

Favorite Bridesmaids' Dresses

Sara's Bridesmaids

Sara had all of her girls in a different dress. All with a different color and style and they were so perfect. Mixed dresses is nothing new by any means but many times we see them in the same color just different styles, or different styles with the same color palette, or even the same color with different styles. Each girl was able to wear a dress that she loved and felt comfortable in and it was perfect. Sara's wedding colors were all neutrals: natural greenery, white, ivory and cream. The shades of light blue, taupe, cream dresses were the perfect pop of color for her wedding.

Favorite Wedding Moment

Lauren's Father Daughter Dance

This one was super easy to pick. By far the most amazing moment at a wedding this year was at the wedding of Lauren and Derek. But I think I need to give you a little back story... Lauren's father sadly passed away prior to Lauren and Derek getting engaged. It's always tough when a bride has a parent not present on such an important day, but we were sure to honor her dad in many ways. Lauren decided that for the father daughter dance that she wanted to dance with her dad's best friends. While they danced a slideshow of Lauren and her father played for everyone to watch. It was already an emotional dance but it gets better! What Lauren did not know was that her sisters had a little surprise for her at the end of the song. As the song concluded an audio of her dad piped in with him say "Hey Girl, I love you". Lauren was so surprised and touched and immediately burst into tears. There was not a dry eye in the room...seriously! We were crying like babies. It was such an amazing moment and it gives us chills every time to watch the video. You can watch below....you can skip to the dance at the 4:00 minute mark.
