Junior Coordinator

We are proud to introduce our Junior Coordinator Apprentice Program, designed as the first step toward becoming an independent wedding coordinator with our company.

 

This program is ideal for individuals who already have foundational experience in weddings or events and are ready to take the next step into a more advanced, client-facing coordination role.

 

What to Expect

Junior Coordinators in this program will:

 

  • Hold a leading role in coordinating weddings directly with Clients while having the guidance and support of one of our experienced planners.

  • Gain hands-on experience coordinating real weddings from start to finish

  • Interact directly with clients, wedding parties, and vendors

  • Build confidence in leading wedding day logistics with the reassurance of an experienced planner present

 

This is a day-of coordination role, and you will never be thrown into a situation alone. Our goal is to provide a supportive, structured environment that ensures both an exceptional client experience and your professional growth.

Program Structure
  • Apprentices will participate in the program for approximately one wedding season

  • After completing a set number of weddings (typically around 5), coordinators may advance to a completely independent coordinator role.

  • Advancement includes increased responsibilities, independence, and higher pay rates

​

Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year or one full wedding season of experience in the wedding or event industry

  • Experience must include working with vendors or on a coordination team (assistant roles count)

  • Personal wedding planning experience alone does not qualify

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to lead, problem-solve, and communicate effectively in fast-paced environment

Wedding Day Assistants

Our Wedding Day Assistants are a vital part of every event we execute and play an essential role in ensuring a smooth and successful wedding day.

 

This position is perfect for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience and get their foot in the door in the wedding industry.

 

 

What to Expect

Wedding Day Assistants will:

 

  • Be assigned specific roles such as Vendor Manager or Wedding Party Manager

  • Work closely with couples, wedding parties, and vendors throughout the day

  • Support the lead coordinator in executing timelines and logistics

  • Gain firsthand experience in wedding coordination and event flow

 

These are leadership-driven support roles with meaningful responsibility and real involvement in the success of each event.

Growth Opportunity

​This role also serves as a pathway into our Junior Coordinator Apprentice Program for those who are new to the industry and looking to grow within our company.

 

Compensation & Commitment
  • Starting pay: $22 per hour

  • Travel compensation provided for events located more than 45 minutes from your home

  • Opportunity to work an average of 5 or more weddings per season, depending on availability

 

Requirements
  • NO prior wedding experience required

  • Ability to be on your feet for 10+ hours

  • Reliable transportation to and from event locations

  • Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude

  • Strong communication skills and ability to take direction

  • Ability to remain calm and adaptable in fast-paced environments

  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends (most weddings take place on weekends)
